What are your requirements?

First of all, the will to be a part of the Tevel B'Tzedek family, to contribute your time, knowledge and abilities.
Tevel B'Tzedek is an international organization that hosts volunteers from Israel and around the world. It is a multicultural, multilingual space.to bridge the different cultures and languages the majority of communication (with the community, different content and sessions) are in English.

Our programs take place on specific dates according to the Jewish and Nepalese calendar and according to the needs of the communities in which we work. Therefore, we require all volunteers to be present throughout the volunteer period.

In order to ensure your personal safety, we require all volunteers to buy full medical insurance, including emergancy rescue for the entire duration of volunteer work, and to receive the appropriate vaccinations according to doctor's instructions prior your arrival to Nepal.

The house in Kathmandu maintains a Jewish character. At the house we keep kosher (the food is vegetarian food only) and we keep shabbat in public spaces (in private rooms volunteers can act according to their will while being considerate of others).

to ensure your place in the program, we require an advance in the amount of $100 (or 350 NIS) which will be deducted from the total payment. The advance must be within a week after your acceptance to the program.
